Launch of New Software With Improved Functionality

On Thursday, January 26, 2012 the Volunteer Center will be re-launching our volunteer matching system with a new look, feel and lots of enhanced functionality. As an affiliate of the HandsOn Network,  we will be utilizing their powerful new volunteer management platform, HandsOn Connect. 

Some new features include:

• One click sharing of volunteering opportunities through email, Facebook and Twitter
• Ability to share your skill profile with organizations that need your expertise
• Option to create your own team which is great for families, service groups, and corporate volunteering
• Easy access to creating a civic profile showing your volunteer service 

What does this mean for you?

The website will be down from Monday, January 23 through Wednesday, January 25. During this time members will be unable to access their accounts as all of our information will be migrated from our current system to HandsOn Connect.
