One-Time Skill-based Opportunity on September 25

If you are passionate about equal access to health services,  you'll want to consider this short-term opportunity.  If you speak an Asian language or are a health professional, even better!

The Asian Center would like to invite you or your organization to participate in the Annual Asian Health Fair on September 25, 2010. The Asian Center, based on its Needs Assessment in 2008, is responding to those needs which were defined as access to health care, education, and more. This event will provide opportunity for Asian Health and Helping professionals to present their service contents and volunteer service opportunities.

The goals of this health fair include: 1. introduce the Asian preventive health strength 2. bridge the Asian professionals and community needs. This event is specifically designed to connect helping and health agencies with Asian Americans who have health needs and wish to be served in a culturally sensitive manner in the community.

In the last year September 27, we hold the First Asian Health Fair in GRCC successfully.

We welcome anyone who wants to join us. Ability to speak any kind of asian language is prefered but not necessary. Experience in social work, medical and health area are prefered not necessary.
