Jessica Gonyou

Name and Title or Position: Jessica Gonyou, Volunteer Center Assistant
What I do: I have worked at the United Way since the fall of 2000, when I interned in the Volunteer Center while completing my degree in English/Professional Writing. In addition to the Volunteer Center, I have also worked with Schools of Hope and Project Blueprint. I currently provide program support for the VC, including creating our eNewsletter and working on our website. I was previously employed by Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and did freelance writing for MiBizWest Magazine. My husband and I also own our own business, Country Harvest Greenhouse in Alto, MI. My volunteer experience first began as a youth at my church. Recently I served for 3 years as a leader in our MOPS group, acting as the Coordinator for one year.
